Boards and Commissions

The Village of Pleasant Prairie has eight boards and commissions each with specific responsibilities as detailed in the Village of Pleasant Prairie Municipal Code and Wisconsin State Statutes.

These boards and commissions are established for the purpose of acquiring and studying information in specific areas and to make recommendations to the Village Board on issues within their area of expertise. Some boards are quasi-judicial and have decision-making powers within their areas of expertise.  Boards and commissions are identified in the menu to the left.

Appointments to the boards and commissions are made pursuant to the Municipal Code.  Vacancies may occur from time to time.  Application or resume may be submitted for an open/vacant position through our online process located on the Boards and Commissions Member Information page.
