
PLANS FOR EDUCATORS CREDIT UNION IN PLEASANT PRAIRIE MOVE FORWARD WITH APPROVAL OF SITE AND OPERATIONAL PLANS
On Monday, November 9, the Pleasant Prairie Plan Commission considered and approved Site and Operational Plans for Educators Credit Union for the construction of a 7,280 square foot full service branch. Educators Credit Union is planning to construct the new branch on the north side of Highway 50, just east of 91st Avenue.
Educators Credit Union is planning to conduct transactions at this location both in person and through interactive teller technology. Anticipated hours of operation will be: Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. in the lobby and 8:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the drive through; and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until noon in the lobby and 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. in the drive through. A total of six full-time employees are expected to work from the location.
Educators Credit Union anticipates between 300 and 700 vehicles entering and exiting the site per day, with the maximum number anticipated after a period of three to five years. Additional documents related to the project were also considered and approved on November 9. They include: a Conditional Use Permit, Digital Security Imaging System Agreement, Access Easement, Zoning Map and Text Amendments, and Development Agreement. Educators Credit Union intends to break ground on the Pleasant Prairie branch yet this year.
