Visitor Information

The Village of Pleasant Prairie is a family community with a spirit that embraces all those who visit here.

Prairie Springs Park is one of the cornerstones of our Village, hosting many family-friendly events, such as Pleasant Prairie Triathlon, Pleasant Prairie Mini Maker Faire and more. Within this 825-acre park is Lake Andrea, a 110-acre spring fed lake which is great for swimming and kayaking, surrounded by a 2.3-mile paved trail, perfect for walking, jogging, bicycling, or in-line skating.

Also located in Prairie Springs Park is the nation's largest municipal indoor recreation facility, the LakeView RecPlex. Guests enjoy an indoor waterpark, field house, a fitness center, a suspended walking/jogging track, and two NHL-size ice rinks.

Our community preserves its beauty by maintaining natural conservancy areas such as Chiwaukee Prairie and the Des Plaines River Floodplain, which provide an essential balance of rural and urban experiences for our visitors and residents.

Pleasant Prairie is also home to other popular attractions, such as the Jelly Belly Center and Premium Outlets. There are also a variety of trendy restaurants along HWY 50 in the Prairie Ridge Development.
