Have Fun

Pleasant Prairie offers many options to "have fun" in the village. We are proud to have six public parks for the community to use:

    • Prairie Springs Park
    • Rolling Meadows Park
    • Pleasant Prairie Park
    • Ingram Park
    • Carol Beach Park
    • Becker Park
    • Lake Michigan Park

Most of our parks include jungle gyms, open space, tennis courts and basketball courts.

Residents enjoy the close proximity to swim at Lake Andrea Beach and visit Lake Michigan. The summer and fall are ideal times to walk the trails in Prairie Springs Parks and the Des Plaines River Flood Plain. Take your furry canine friends to the dog park or cast a line in the fishing pond at Ingram Park.

The fun does not stop during the winter months! When there is a sheet of fresh snow on the ground, you can go snowshoeing on the nature trails or take the kids sledding at Ingram Park. Don’t forget open ice skate at RecPlex ice arenas. Ice fishing is also allowed on Lake Andrea for those who have fishing permits.
