Pleasant Prairie

Should an emergency occur in the Village, such as a snow emergency or large scale accident, the Village will post information to PleasantPrairieWi.gov, Twitter and Facebook. We also share information and updates with local media outlets.

Kenosha County

The Village of Pleasant Prairie resides in Kenosha County which has an emergency notification alerting system. Village residents are encouraged to sign-up for the County's alert system (AlertSense).

Kenosha County's notification system is provided by AlertSense. Alerts may range from alerts of severe weather to local crime situations. AlertSense is able to send you emergency alerts via text message, email, pager, or voice mail (in extreme cases), based on your preferences when you sign-up.

Reverse 911 Calling System

The Village of Pleasant Prairie does not have an reverse 911 calling system in place. If an extreme emergency were to occur the Kenosha County dispatch center would send out a reverse 911 call to registered landlines and cellphones.
