Walkers and runners of all ages and abilities are invited to take part in the Summer Family 5K Walk/Run on Saturday, July 18, 2015 inside Prairie Springs Park. The event will take place along the shores of Lake Andrea and will begin at the Wruck Beach Pavilion on the west side of the park.
T-shirt and packet pick-up will be available on the Wednesday and Thursday prior to the race in the RecPlex fitness center (9900 Terwall Terrace). Race day registration and packet pick-up begin at 8:00 a.m. the day of the race, while the 5K will begin at 9:00 a.m. The registration fee for the event is $20 per person through July 16, and $25 thereafter. Pre-registration is currently underway at RecPlex or at www.RecPlexOnline.com.
