PLANS APPROVED FOR A SECOND KWIK TRIP LOCATION IN PLEASANT PRAIRIE
On Monday, March 23, the Pleasant Prairie Plan Commission considered and approved plans related to the construction of a Kwik Trip gasoline and convenience store with an attached car wash at the southwest corner of State Highway 50 and County Highway H in Pleasant Prairie.
Kwik Trip has plans to construct a 10,150 square foot building on approximately 2.9 acres. Plans for the site also call for: 26 gasoline pumps, two exterior ice storage bins, one outdoor liquid propane storage cage, a bicycle rack, landscaping, lighting, security cameras, signage and storm water retention facilities.
Hours of operation at the station will be 5:00 a.m. until midnight daily. A total of 5 full-time and 20 part-time employees are expected to work from the facility. One fuel, one grocery, and one additional delivery truck are expected to and from the facility daily.
In June of 2014, plans were considered and approved for a Kwik Trip to be constructed near the intersection of Highways 165 and 31. Construction of the Kwik Trip near Highway 165 has just begun. Construction of the Kwik Trip at Highways 50 and H is expected to begin later this year.
