Pleasant Prairie welcomes a new business - trade show exhibit manufacturer, Catalyst Exhibits - to LakeView Corporate Park. During a joint announcement made March 17, State of Wisconsin and Kenosha Area Business Alliance (KABA) officials announced that Catalyst Exhibits would be relocating to the LakeView III building at 7809 100th Street from its current location in Crystal Lake, Illinois. Catalyst Exhibits manufactures trade show exhibits and large format graphics.
As part of the relocation, the State Department of Commerce and KABA have offered financial incentives to the business. "We are pleased to welcome new business to Pleasant Prairie," commented John Steinbrink Sr., Village President. "Catalyst will fill a vacant building in LakeView Corporate Park. The investment in LakeView's design and infrastructure has given the corporate park an enduring quality. LakeView has proven to be a great asset over the past twenty plus years."
During the announcement, State officials explained that Catalyst would move approximately 88 jobs to Wisconsin. Most Catalyst employees will make the move with the company, and roughly 25 new positions will be added. Catalyst, established in 1998, will be the second trade show exhibit manufacturer to locate in Pleasant Prairie.
MG Design, established in 1958, currently manufactures trade show exhibits from its Pleasant Prairie location in LakeView Corporate Park. Both companies have long client lists featuring a variety of nationally and regionally known companies. More information about Catalyst Exhibits is available at www.catalystexhibit.com.
