The Parks and Recreation open house style meeting scheduled for
Wednesday, September 7 has been postponed. Residents were invited to
attend a series of public meetings to discuss ideas about the future of
parks and recreation in Pleasant Prairie. The first two of three
meetings were held on July 20 and August 17.
During the
meetings, Village staff and consultants with the Public Research Group
solicited public input to guide the creation of 5-Year Master Plans for
both the Parks and Recreation functions in the Village. In addition to
the public meetings, Public Research Group conducted surveys of a
sampling of area residents. The results of the survey will be used in
conjunction with feedback gathered from the first two meetings as Public
Research Group drafts proposed Master Plans. Public Research Group will
reschedule the postponed meeting to share the proposed plans at a
future date that has not yet been set.
