NEW PARKING AREA CREATED
Prior to the start of the summer event
season, work to create a new overflow parking area took place inside
Prairie Springs Park. Crews installed stone and a culvert to grant
vehicle access to a grassy parking area directly across from the main
entrance to RecPlex (shown in the photo above). The new parking area
will be used during special events to meet overflow parking needs.
MATERIAL DONATION
The
Village would like to thank A.W. Oakes & Son for their donation of
culvert and stone for the project. The donation from A.W. Oakes &
Son will help support community events that are held in the park. The
overflow lot was used during the 2011 triathlons and Prairie Family
Days.
