Starting August 4, the Village will begin installing a new water main along 116th Street (between Springbrook Road and 39th Avenue). Work is expected to continue through the end of October.
116th Street will be closed within the work area with local roadway access only permitted to those residents, guests and services needing to enter the work zone. The closure will include:
• Initial closure will be from Springbrook Road to 47th Avenue
• Later in the project, the road closure will be extended to include 47th Avenue to 39th Avenue.
Please be aware of occasional lane closures on Springbrook Road and 39th Avenue during the course of the work.
Drivers should plan alternate routes and allow extra travel time to navigate around the construction area. Construction crews appreciate the your cooperation for these important improvements to the Village infrastructure and ask those needing to drive in the project area to use caution.
