During the Plan Commission meeting on November 17, 2025, commissioners approved Site and Operational Plans for SAVECO North America, Inc. The company manufactures water-treatment equipment and currently operates in Gurnee, Illinois. The project outlines the relocation of SAVECO operations to the Village of Pleasant Prairie.
SAVECO specializes in liquid-solid separation and mixing systems, as well as replacement components and assemblies for related industrial equipment. The company will occupy approximately 92,261 square feet of the 144,281-square-foot facility located at 7809 100th Street in LakeView Corporate Park. The remaining portion of the building is leased to an existing tenant.
The Pleasant Prairie facility will include office space for sales, engineering, shipping, and service teams, as well as warehouse and assembly areas for spare parts, assemblies, and equipment preparation. Operations will involve receiving manufactured equipment, adding enhancement components such as stainless-steel piping, and preparing finished systems for shipment to clients.
The company plans to relocate 44 full-time employees from its current Illinois location and add approximately 33 new full-time positions in Pleasant Prairie. Staff will primarily work first shift, with operational hours scheduled Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Deliveries will be accepted between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Materials to be handled on site include mechanical equipment for solids separation, mixers, pumps, low-horsepower electrical motors, steel pipe fittings, composite components, wooden pallets, and packaging materials such as boxes, strapping, and labels. Equipment used in daily operations will include electric hand tools and forklifts.
The approval supports continued business growth within LakeView Corporate Park, a key industrial area in the Village that houses a diverse range of manufacturing and distribution companies.
