If you are interested in being appointed as a Special Registration Deputy (SRD) for the purpose of registering electors during the period of open voter registration for the 2012 Election year, you must complete a qualified two-hour training session before you can be appointed. You are eligible to be a Special Registration Deputy if you are a qualified elector. Qualified electors are U.S. citizens, age 18 or older, who have lived in Wisconsin for at least 28 consecutive days and have not been disqualified to vote in Wisconsin.
The Kenosha County Clerk has organized an SRD training session on behalf of the municipalities in Kenosha County on Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at the Kenosha County Center, 19600 75th Street, located on the northeast corner of State Highway 50 and Highway 45. By attending this training, you will be able to register voters who reside in the municipalities who will be represented by their municipal clerk at this session. Please contact the Kenosha County Clerk’s Office at 262/653-2552 for the schedule and/or to reserve your seat for this training.
