
On Monday, March 21, flags were ordered to be flown at half-staff until sunset on Saturday, March 26 in honor of fallen Fond du Lac Police Officer Craig Birkholz. Officer Birkholz, a former resident of Pleasant Prairie, died in the line of duty on Sunday, March 20. Officer Birkholz was shot while responding to an emergency call.
The Village of Pleasant Prairie wishes to recognize Officer Birkholz' years of good citizenry, his outstanding service to his country in the U.S. Army and his service to his community as an officer with the Fond du Lac Police Department. The Pleasant Prairie Village Board and staff wish to extend their sincere condolences to the Birkholz family.VENDORS SOUGHT
for the Prairie Family Days Farmers' Market/Craft Fair on Saturday, July 23
One of the exciting new developments with the return of Prairie Family Days this summer will be the addition of a Farmers' Market/Craft Fair. The market will be open from noon until 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 23. The market committee is currently seeking vendors who who have an interest in participating. Space rental is $10 prior to May 1 and $20 thereafter. Vendors with the following products are being sought:
