Please make sure that your home address numbers are clearly visible from the street. During an emergency situation, seconds count. By making sure that your home address numbers are visible from the street, you'll enable police, fire, and rescue personnel to find your home more quickly during emergency situations.

This spring, please take time to trim bushes that may be obscuring your address numbers from view and to install numbers that are large enough to be clearly seen from the street. Numbers are required to be:
• at least three inches tall
• attached to the residence when the residence is within 100 feet of the right-of-way
• placed on a monument sign at the right-of-way line when the residence is farther than 100 feet from the right-of-way
• mounted horizontal to the street
• readily visible from the road
