On Monday, June 13, the Pleasant Prairie Plan Commission considered and approved Site and Operational Plans for Kirsan Engineering. Kirsan, a manufacturer of precision-machined parts, has plans to occupy a 32,680 square foot building located at 8201 100th Street in LakeView Corporate Park. Kirsan was established in 1967. It is a division of the Ocenco Group, which has been located at 10225 82nd Street in Pleasant Prairie for the past 19 years.
Kirsan has plans to make improvements to the interior of the facility to make the production area more flexible and to accommodate offices for their Quality Department. Approximately 8,000 square feet will be used as office space. Kirsan plans to employ approximately 61 people at the site over three separate shifts.
The building was previously occupied by Matthews Paint, which is owned by PPG Industries, and has been vacant for more than one year. "We are so pleased that Kirsan has chosen to remain in the area," explained Jean Werbie-Harris, Community Development Director for the Village of Pleasant Prairie. "We hope their new location will enable them to continue to grow as a successful business in our region."
