On the afternoon of Thursday, April 16, the National Weather Service will conduct a statewide tornado drill in Wisconsin. On April 16 at 1:00 p.m., a mock tornado watch for all of Wisconsin will be issued, and at 1:45 p.m., a mock tornado warning will subsequently be issued across the state. The statewide drill should end by 2:00 p.m.
If actual severe weather occurs anywhere in the state on April 16, the statewide drill will be postponed until Friday, April 17 with the watch and warning being issued at the same times planned for the April 16 drill.
