PRELIMINARY SITE AND OPERATIONAL PLANS APPROVED FOR MEDICAL OFFICE BUILDING JUST NORTH OF HIGHWAY 50 IN PLEASANT PRAIRIE
On Monday, July 13, the Pleasant Prairie Plan Commission considered and approved Preliminary Site and Operational Plans related to the construction of a new medical office building on approximately one acre of land, north of State Highway 50 and west of 91st Avenue.
Dr. Abdul Durrani, MD is planning to construct a 6,300 square foot, one-story, brick building with approximately half of the space dedicated for use in his medical practice and the remaining space left unfinished for a potential lease opportunity. Dr. Durrani has been a family practice physician in Kenosha for more than 25 years.
The facility, which will be located immediately west of the Goddard School, will be accessible from 91st Avenue through a driveway just north of the school. It is proposed to operate Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. with some weekend hours. A maximum of one full-time and four part-time employees are expected to work from the practice.
With the preliminary plan approval, mass grading at the site can begin. More detailed Final Site and Operational Plans will be drafted, reviewed by staff, and considered by the Village Plan Commission at a point in the future.
