Police Taking Proactive Measures to Maintain Safety
Posted on 01/06/2021
The Pleasant Prairie Police Department is taking proactive measures to maintain the community's security in response to yesterday's announcement regarding the officer involved shooting incident that took place in Kenosha on August 23, 2020. The proactive measures involve securing the retail areas on Highway 50. During overnight hours, Police will limit access to the streets along Highway 50 that enter Shoppes at Prairie Ridge.

Access to the Froedtert South Emergency Room area will remain accessible to the public. Visitors and patients can access the facility via Prairie Ridge Drive from Highway H (88th Avenue). The overnight road closures are anticipated to continue for an extended period of days. The Pleasant Prairie Police Department appreciates the public's understanding during this period.
