Seasons at River View Apartments Unit Expansion Advances with Plan Amendments
On Monday, May 18th, the Pleasant Prairie Plan Commission confirmed the Residential Development Plans (and related approvals) for the expansion of the Seasons at River View Apartments complex.

This approval will allow for the development of three new parcels between 77th and 79 streets (west of 105th Avenue): a 100-unit apartment expansion, an extension of 78th Street into a cul-de-sac, and an eight-unit subdivision to be developed at a later date.

Built in 2018, the Seasons at River View Apartments complex is located off Highway 50 and currently offers 300 units. This expansion will provide Pleasant Prairie additional housing opportunities and residential development.

Final approvals related to Comprehensive Plan Amendment (and related approvals) will be considered by the Village Board on June 8th, 2026.
Flexport, Inc. Approved for Occupation of Distribution Facility

Site and operational plans were approved for Flexport, Inc. to commence operations at the distribution facility located at 9091 88th Ave. Founded in 2013, Flexport Inc. is technology-driven freight forwarding and supply chain management organization that helps businesses track inventory, manage customs, and ship goods internationally. Its efforts within Pleasant Prairie are expected to focus on warehousing, e-commerce fulfillment, and distribution services. 

This approval will provide the Village strong economic development through the creation of approximately 300 new jobs. Flexport, Inc. is expected to begin operations at the facility towards the end of Summer 2026.
