WoodSpring Suites Hotel Development Site and Operational Plans Approved
The Plan Commission approved Site and Operational Plans (and related approvals) for the WoodSpring Suites extended-stay hotel to be constructed in Pleasant Prairie.
Located off State Highway 50 (west of 115th Avenue at 77th Street in the River View development), this project will feature a 106-room extended-stay hotel that will serve the needs of guests requiring longer-term accommodations.
This development aims to provide economic development and strengthen Pleasant Prairie's growing hospitality and business corridor along State Highway 50. Construction is expected to begin in the fall of 2026, with the hotel targeted to open in late 2027.
Final zoning approvals related to the Site and Operational Plans will be considered by the Village Board on Monday, August 24th, 2026.
Site and Operational Plans Approved for Zilber Property Group Warehouse Development
The Plan Commission approved Site and Operational Plans (and related approvals) for a 152,000-square-foot spec warehouse building proposed by Zilber Property Group.
Located at the southwest corner of State Highway 31 and 108th Street (within Lakeview Corporate Park), this building represents the first phase of a three-phase buildout across three separate properties. As part of Phase One, a public water main will be extended along State Highway 31 to the property line, expanding utility infrastructure to support the corporate park. Once complete, development across the three phases is expected to total over 600,000 square feet of industrial space and support up to 350 new jobs.
This development will support Pleasant Prairie’s continued economic growth by attracting new businesses, creating new jobs and expanding the Village’s industrial tax base. While prospective tenants are still being determined, strong demand is expected. Phase One building construction is expected to begin in the fall of 2026 and the water main extension is expected to be complete by the end of 2027. Timing for future Phases is still to be determined.
